Yuka graduated from American InterContinental University with a BA in Business Administration. She became the youngest to hold the director of organization position at an auto insurance agency, her first job after college within a year. Tired of selling products people hated buying, she decided to go into the food industry and managed Chevy Chase Country Club’s food and beverage operation. Since then, she’s held numerous FOH position including bartender, server, restaurant manager and event sales and coordinator.
Yuka moved to San Francisco with Kris in 2008 and has worked at restaurants as a bartender around the City.
Her most recent job was at a popular Castro spot called Starbelly since their opening of 2009.
When she’s not working in the restaurant, she enjoys watching her cat sleep and arranging flowers.
